Peak
View Retrievers was founded in 2002 under the idea that
retriever training is not just for hunters, but also for
the dog owner who wants a well disciplined and obedient
companion.
I, Sheena McCorkle,
founder and owner of Peak View Retrievers, began
training dogs when I was 10 years old with my father and
professional trainers. My love for the animals and gift
for understanding them has led me to expand my passion
for training.
My mission is to help
people find the pure enjoyment of living, playing and
working with a well trained dog that is a joy to be
around for all. With over 20 years of experience of
training, hunting and living with dogs, I can offer you
the opportunity to develop your dog into the desired
companion you have always wanted. We believe there is
no "one" training method or level of training and dogs
can be as individual as people. Let us help you make
the right choice when you’re ready to train your
companion.
Currently I am force fetching dogs for a professional
trainer, Ben Garcia, with Hideaway Kennels,

I am experienced with not
only retrievers but pointers as well. My patience and
technique has been proven successful even on the most
difficult or softest of dogs.
I have
competed and titled in hunt tests, hunting competitions,
obedience rings, and therapy environments. I hunt with
all my dogs and my young children are actively involved
with training as well. We can train to any level of
hunting skills desired, or train your rescue dog back to
life. Whatever your desire may be, I hope you will give
